  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and desires, through user and market research, competitor analysis, AB testing, and other quantitative/qualitative analysis, and turning those insights into a product vision and actionable opportunities that delight our customers and increase conversion rate
  • Partner with key stakeholders (business unit leaders, brokerage agents, marketing, customer support, legal, finance, etc.) to define business requirements for a successful product
  • Work with designers and the development team to transform business strategy into a roadmap with actionable sprint plans
  • Identify and track key metrics associated with the success of the product/features, and communicate product performance to the rest of the organization throughout the product life cycle
  • Evaluate trade-offs in product, design, and technical decisions, and use data-driven mechanisms to influence and drive alignment
  • Own the product roadmap, backlog prioritization, and release plan for the product and related features
  • Manage day-to-day scrum activity and prioritize efforts for a team consisting of developers, designers, and quality assurance
  • Coordinate with other business functions for product launch and implementation, including developing marketing plans, ensuring operational readiness, and any other launch requirements
  • Collaborate in the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of landing pages, and continually look for improvements that optimize user experience and boost SEO effectiveness
  • Develop expertise in their focus area, and keeping on top of constantly changing competitor and industry trends

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education: our ideal candidate has completed a program of relevance (i.e., Product Management)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Startup/scaleup experience considered an asset, especially in fintech and/or a SaaS/B2C platform business
  • Experience in Agile/Sprint/Scrum development processes
  • Experience with web analytics, user testing, and AB testing tools
  • A passion for UX/Design and exceptional ability to translate customer and business needs into outstanding products
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 – 5 years of experience performing similar accountabilities in either an Account Management or Ad Operations role is required.
  • Strong skills in excel required (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, charts & graphs, etc)
  • Experience with all of the following is a definite asset: Google Ad Manager (GAM), order management systems, ad operations, and executing media campaigns. Understanding of ad exchange, SSP’s, programmatic ecosystem.
