OVERVIEW
The Senior Designer/Art Director at Salt, you should have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques. You should also have experience in implementing marketing campaigns. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all design projects from concept to delivery
Manage all graphic design tasks, refine projects and drafts, and generate creative ideas
Create original artwork and review the drafts of Junior Graphic Designers to ensure quality work
Create and manage digital and print designs for our marketing needs
Design graphic content, illustrations, and infographics
Manage graphic designs from conception to delivery
Review junior designer drafts to ensure quality
Generate fresh concepts
Ensure brand consistency throughout various marketing projects
Liaise between the marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
Keep up to date with industry developments
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
A Graphic Design qualification or similar
Portfolio with design projects
8+ years proven work experience as a Designer
Working experience with Adobe CS and more
A keen eye for visual details
Aesthetic skills
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members
Experience with motion design and/or HTML5 a plus

Salt Experiential Commerce (Salt XC) is looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager to own, build and manage the projects and workflows for the Digital Performance team, and ensure processes are scalable. They are also in charge of strategic client growth by partnering closely with other agency leaders to identify new opportunities and proposed solutions. This role will have direct reports and is client facing.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Digital Director, you will own the entire end-to-end workflow of digital campaigns for the agency and partner closely with creative, studio, connections, and external teams. You have strategic knowledge of innovative technologies and can speak knowledgably about the digital ecosystem to respond to different briefs. You’ll ensure deliverables are set, expectations are met, and the team you work with has the information and plan to succeed. You will also be a primary point of contact for clients. The right candidate will work both collaboratively and autonomously with ease.
Salt XC is built to be able to respond quickly, as well as to work on planned campaigns and concepts. In this role, you will manage a range of workstreams – from fast to slow.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- TEAM LEADERSHIP: manage the team’s structure and resourcing, ensuring that we focus on the right work at the right time. You’ll lead weekly status meetings and have a view to all the projects on-going at a given time.
- WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT: build and manage the foundations of the workflow and process for incoming digital project requests from across the agency. This includes recommending and utilizing project management tools.
- PROJECT SOLUTIONING: act as subject matter expert with internal teams and clients on digital concepts for Augmented Reality, 1PD Collection, Digital Games, E-Commerce, and other creative technologies.
- PROJECT DELIVERY: oversee and contribute to the planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications – you’ll manage project managers and/or be the point person for running projects end-to-end.
- VENDOR COLLABORATION: closely partner with a roster of external vendors who provide resources and services to deliver specialized projects. Always act with optimism and integrity when representing the agency.
- ADAPTABILITY: you demonstrate resiliency in a dynamic, fast paced work environment where ideas and opportunities happen fast and require flexibly.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of experience working Project Management, Accounts, Client service or a related role in an agency environment, ideally a digital led agency.
- 3+ years of indirect people management experience.
- Proven experience delivering a variety of digital development and creative projects that use a wide range of technologies.
- Proven experience strategically solutioning projects based on client briefs.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
- Demonstratable experience with project management tools.
- Strategic understanding of the broader digital marketing landscape including social media platforms, SEO, media, and analytics.
- Strong organizational skills and processes that allow you to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, often with simultaneous deliverables.
- Ability to problem solve and evaluate the importance of multiple deliverables at the same time.
- Experience working with multiple internal departments and external partners including creative, UX, content, QA, and technology.
