Job Position: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Job Type: Full-Time
Our client, a leading mining company in Fort McMurray, is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support and expertise to various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes for new employees
– Conduct employee orientations and facilitate training sessions
– Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers
– Administer and track employee benefits programs
– Assist with performance management processes and provide coaching to employees and managers
– Coordinate with payroll department on employee changes and updates
– Maintain HR records and file documentation in compliance with company policies
– Support HR initiatives and projects as needed
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– Minimum 3 years of experience in HR generalist role
– Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite
– Experience in the mining industry is preferred but not required
