GO Rail Expansion will transform the transportation network in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area by delivering two-way, all-day service every 15 minutes over core segments of the GO Rail network. System-wide infrastructure upgrades are planned to include: adding tracks, expanding stations, electrification of the rail network, new locomotives and train control systems to enable more frequent service.The successful candidate will lead multi-disciplinary track design teams for multiple projects. GO Rail Expansion will transform the transportation network in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area by delivering two-way, all-day service every 15 minutes over core segments of the GO Rail network. System-wide infrastructure upgrades are planned to include: adding tracks, expanding stations, electrification of the rail network, new locomotives and train control systems to enable more frequent service.The successful candidate will lead multi-disciplinary track design teams for multiple projects. Beyond the On Corridor Works project, the successful candidate will have opportunities to lead designs on a variety of freight, passenger and commuter rail projects across Canada.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing leadership and acting as rail engineering subject matter expert in the transit and rail team in line with international best practice.
