Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Merchandising and Marketing Associate to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience through effective product merchandising and innovative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will also focus on associate retention and training, ensuring that our staff is well-equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising:
- Develop and execute visually appealing merchandise displays that drive sales.
- Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to optimize product placement and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with store management to create seasonal merchandising plans in line with overall marketing objectives.

Marketing:
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns that promote store events and products.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for promotions and customer engagement.
- Utilize social media and other digital platforms to enhance brand visibility and attract customers.

Associate Retention:
- Implement strategies to improve associate morale and job satisfaction, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor turnover rates and develop initiatives aimed at retaining top talent.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions with associates to address concerns and gather insights.

Associate Training:
- Design and deliver training programs that equip associates with the skills needed for their roles, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with store management to provide ongoing support and mentorship to new hires.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Recommendations to Store Management:
- Provide actionable insights based on sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to improve overall store performance.
- Make recommendations for product assortments, promotions, and staffing needs based on analysis and observations.
- Support store management in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, marketing, and/or retail operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for retail and customer experience.
