  • While in the office, you will be relied upon to:
  • Prepare engineering contract packages (drawings, specifications, etc.) for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures;
  • Draft to specified standards, utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit; and
  • Work in a collaborative design-drafting environment to incorporate lessons learned and find innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • While in the field, you will be relied upon to:
  • Complete inspections of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures as part of an inspection team with another technologist or engineer;
  • Act as a site inspector on an active construction project and represent WSP in daily interactions with both the contractor and client; and
  • Document inspection findings using report templates and take photographs, measurements, etc. as required.

What you’ll bring to WSP …

  • Diploma from a Technician or Technologist program in Structural, Civil, or Transportation Engineering;
  • Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit;
  • Willingness to travel to locations throughout Ontario and Canada to complete inspections;
  • Familiarity with construction practices and hands-on construction-related experience;
  • Experience performing OSIM inspections is considered an asset;

  • Provide Project Controls to multiple project delivery teams and multiple projects.
  • Responsible for preparing and accessing the accuracy of internal/external project reports.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree (project management, finance or business preferred)
  • Junior to intermediate Cost Analyst with 1-3 years of relevant experience in Project Controls; with experience as cost analyst.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is an asset

  • Provide support and oversight on a portfolio of projects with multiple PMs across business units.
  • Attend regular meetings with Project Delivery Team on the financial status of projects.
  • Lead the financial review for projects to ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
