This role requires a deep understanding of design tool efficiencies, print, packaging and digital production best practices. This person has rich experience in managing the translation of creative concepts into tactical design assets across various creative mediums. The Production Lead will directly manage our production team and ensure that we’re developing assets that are consistent with our brand, at a high quality, high volume, and on tight timelines.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute on production projects, taking creative concepts and developing assets across various paid and owned marketing channels
- Review production team’s work to ensure high quality and consistency
- Ensure a high volume of assets are pixel-perfect, built to spec and diligently QA’d
- Ensure our creative assets are accessible, device, and user-friendly
- Maintain our asset component library, providing appropriate communication and training to the team as needed
- Develop and maintain design tooling efficiencies, stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
- Work in partnership with the Design Lead and Copy Lead, ensuring the creative team is working collaboratively and efficiently together
- Manage external vendors over high-volume periods, appropriately forecasting when we will need external resources and managing budgets as a result
- Develop and maintain flow-through processes between internal and external design resources
- Develop and maintain our DAM system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility across the org
Production Design Leadership:
- Facilitate stakeholder and peer reviews to drive trust and understanding
- Challenge the team to push their ideas forward, champion for innovation
- Mentor and coach the production team, providing ongoing feedback
- Create a culture of inspiration, trust, and creativity
Production Strategy:
- Lead the production vision of the Creative Ops roadmap
- Ensure that the team is producing creative at the highest level of efficiency
- Ensure appropriate production processes and checkpoints are in place for efficiency and accuracy
- Continually seek out production tool enhancements and optimization
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Production Lead, Sr. Production Designer, Sr. Production Artist, or similar role
- Portfolio of completed design projects
- Expert level proficiency in production software and tools
- Strong organizational skills with a refined sensibility of timelines, budgets, and resource management
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
