You will work closely with the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team, supporting critical projects and initiatives that rely on data-driven strategies. - Assist in data collection, validation, and cleansing processes
- Work with large datasets and perform data manipulation and analysis using statistical tools
- Collaborate with team members to develop data visualization dashboards and reports
- Conduct research and provide insights based on data analysis to support strategic decision making
- Support the maintenance and improvement of data in VFA (Capital Planning software) and other internal systems/software
- Participate in weekly team/data governance meetings, intern meetings and mentor/mentee meetings.
- Complete the end-of-the-year internship pitch presentation to the panel.
- Assist in ad-hoc data projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education (college/university)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- No experience required however proficiency in data manipulation such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R is an asset
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Data Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain a secure and reliable data infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing data pipelines and systems to ensure the smooth flow of data and enable data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities:
