About the Opportunity
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will build your skills and grow in both digital and event marketing initiatives through our new product – Spaces! You will have a significant influence on our content marketing strategy and help to solve important problems that teachers and administrators face. If you have a passion for education and the impact technology can make on student success, and a background in all things marketing, then this role could be a perfect fit for you!
What you will be doing:
- Drive our content marketing strategy, leading the creation of content and resources which target relevant keywords and answers the questions that teachers and administrators are asking
- Strategize and execute on SEO best practices for the Spaces website; including campaigns that drive relevant backlinks and get Spaces content in front of the right people
- Be the face of a community; strategize and execute on the acquisition, engagement, and delight of our community members
- Lead our email marketing efforts; communicating relevant news, updates and events to our subscribers and making our email efforts fun to read for partners
- Use analytics and reporting tools to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement as well as showcase campaign results
- Be on top of education industry trends, become immersed in the challenges and opportunities facing educators today to develop content, and help establish myBlueprint as a thought-leader with stories that resonate with educators
- Create content across various formats: podcast, blog posts, landing pages, webinars, and videos
The skills & experiences you will need:
- A degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or relevant on the job experience
- Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to craft content that drives awareness, education, and conversation of prospects, customers and the industry
- Familiarity with SEO and Email Marketing best practices
- Writing and creating content; you have a portfolio showcasing your work that you’re able to share with us
- Previous experience managing freelancers and external contributors
- Creative thinking, empathy, and attention to detail
Bonus points for:
- Knowledge of Mailchimp, Salesforce, and Hootsuite
- Prior experience / a strong interest in the edtech industry

Remote Work Arrangements
While we look forward to returning to our Toronto office in some capacity in the future, our teams are fully remote for now!
