About the Opportunity:

The Director – Digital Marketing, Corporate Brands will drive digital marketing strategy and implementation for Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate brands as part of the global digital function.

The purpose of this role is to provide digital marketing strategic direction, execution, and deliverables for global brands, while leading and supporting digital marketing teams and individuals across regions.

This role leverages a strong understanding of all facets of cross-channel digital management across touchpoints and through the full marketing funnel. The role will drive business growth through increased digital acquisition and retention programs, as well as increased customer engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Strategy

  • Work with SVP Digital and Global Brand to develop cohesive digital marketing strategy at a brand and campaign level that has both global and regional facets.
  • Lead digital marketing planning, including channel performance forecasting.

Digital Marketing Deliverables

  • Deliver the ROI based digital marketing projects in support of global brand initiatives and campaigns.
  • Deliver on campaign and BAU digital marketing activities that encompass website UX/UI, paid media, social, SEO, and CRO.
  • Report on status, risks, and successes related to digital marketing deliverables

Digital Marketing in Mid/Low Funnel

  • Drive digital marketing ROI beyond the historical focus on acquisition.
  • Working in collaboration with martech, automation and development teams to deliver best in class digital experience in acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Deliver reporting that informs and enhances lower funnel digital marketing
  • Create global consistency where possible

Digital Marketing Platforms

  • Work with brand, content, and PR to improve social strategy and execution
  • Provide guidance for each brand’s mobile app and customer portals
  • Continually improve the functionality, usability, and design of the brand websites

Digital Marketing Reporting

  • Ensure global consistency in reporting and benchmarking across digital marketing
  • Optimize and/or build reporting technology in support of digital marketing
  • Deliver insights to global brand leaders on digital channel performance.
  • Continually improve our level of reporting capabilities at a global and regional level.

Digital Marketing Team Management

  • Develop team resource planning to ensure that the team delivers to project timelines.
  • Align digital marketing hubs to global framework
  • 1-1 development and support

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Understanding of the B2B environment – An essential part of the role is to understand the principles of B2B marketing and how to implement activities that will have an impact on brand and sales.
  • Digital marketing acumen – An understanding of digital marketing mediums and how the various platforms play a role in integrated marketing strategies for the B2B segment is required.
  • Project planning – Global Digital Marketing Lead will work closely with other departments and the corporate marketing teams to create consensus, build plans, and track progress.
  • Analysis and reporting – To ensure that plans are always cost effective as we strive for brand development, lead generation and customer success, reporting is an essential part to creating accountability.
  • People Management – Combine empathy with functional knowledge to motivate and support digital marketing teammates.

Position Requirements:

This is the senior digital role for corporate brands, a multi-billion-dollar portfolio including FCM and Corporate Traveller. As such, candidates require in excess of 7 years of dedicated digital experience with at least 5 of these years in a similar role in regarded brands.

  • 5-7 years in Digital Marketing Management – Digital Marketing Manager, Director of Digital Marketing or similar
  • MBA in Marketing, Analytics, Management preferred
  • Previous experience in global organisations with proven ability to scale a business through digital success

As the Senior Digital Designer you have:
