Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, pre-cook and/or cook food products as directed.
  • Prepare “mise en place” (setting in place of foods, garnishes, sauces, dishes, cutlery, etc) and other products as required for high volume production.
  • Clean kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Label, date, store and rotate food and beverage products in appropriate storage areas.
  • Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

  • Identify and escalate, and potentially report content to Law Enforcement as well as conduct police escalations for Wattpad’s at-risk users.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Wattpad’s Content Guidelines/Code of Conduct and enforce them by reviewing content reported by Wattpad’s community.
  • Support the management of data privacy and protection initiatives, ensuring all user data handling aligns with applicable privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA).
  • Participate in creating, contributing, and enforcing safety policies at Wattpad.
  • Act as the first line of defence for user and community issues that might arise.
  • Play a critical role in addressing behaviours that negatively impact our users and community.
  • Conduct regular reviews of data access and processing procedures, identifying potential areas for improvement in data security and privacy.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with evolving global legislation, regulations, and industry standards related to trust and safety compliance, ensuring ongoing alignment across all markets and adapting policies and procedures as needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • Education: B.A./B.S. in related fields
  • 2+ years’ experience in trust and safety or related fields (must have experience in UGC moderation)
  • Strong proficiency with technology and online project management systems: SharePoint, MS Office, Airtable
  • Must have experience working with Zendesk
  • Interested in content policy, compliance, and/or internet governance
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance best practices.

You will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating assigned kitchen, food production and food-service associates.As a Chef, you will:

  • Direct and supervise all aspects of food production and services
