  • Define and implement scalable, repeatable processes to expand PagerDuty’s ABM programs across all strategic accounts globally.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience executing successful account-based marketing campaigns.
  • 5-7 years of previous marketing or other relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience with ABM tools (Demandbase preferred)
  • Strong track record of driving cross-functional collaboration to execute and optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Successfully implemented data-driven programs with key measurements for success
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an understanding of B2B marketing metrics.
  • CRM/marketing automation background, preferably Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Hands-on experience executing across web, email, and digital marketing channels.
  • Clear communication skills to articulate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with project management across multiple teams, capable of prioritizing multiple workstreams and projects.

The base salary range for this position is 98,000 – 149,000 CAD. The role:

We are looking for a Growth Strategist who has experience in client management, ensuring all our client’s needs are met in line with the agreed strategy, KPIs and goals. In addition to leading a delivery team (consisting of a Growth Consultant and Growth Executive) across inbound marketing, conversational marketing and account-based marketing to name just a few.

The role of a Growth Strategist is responsible for planning and organising activity to be delivered by your pod. You will split your time between leading your team in delivering the strategy and communicating this to the client alongside supporting your team in client delivery. It will be your responsibility to run the sprint process and ensure clear client communication post 90-days, you’ll have ownership over that process for the clients that reside within your delivery pod.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client needs, translating client business objectives into Growth marketing tactics and deliver consistently high quality inbound, conversational and account-based marketing
  • Liaise with clients and ensure project deliverables and timeframes are outlined to them effectively (post 90days)
  • Develop and deliver growth marketing strategies including ABM, conversational and inbound marketing
  • Launch and manage Growth Marketing Campaigns
  • Ensure quality control is in place for work produced by the pod
  • Deliver Client Training (across all areas)
  • Creation of marketing automation processes for HubSpot & Drift

Ideally, you will have:

  • 3+ years agency experience
  • A passion for inbound marketing (content, social, SEO)
  • Understanding of theory and implementation of Conversational marketing, Account-based marketing, Inbound Marketing and automation processes
  • Ability to analyse, diagnose and solve problems or issues
  • Plan and prioritise based on predicted outcomes
  • An understanding of Biddable Media and other paid methods
  • An excellent understanding of lead generation and customer acquisition
  • Experience with direct mail and other non-digital marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with clients, prospects and partners by telephone, email and in person
  • Proactivity in searching for new opportunities to improve the client’s campaigns
  • Organisational skill and proficiency in project management
  • A keen eye for detail and aptitude for quality assurance
  • Good energy
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Degree educated (or relative training e.g. apprenticeship)
  • HubSpot certified (as a nice to have)
  • Google certified (as a nice to have)
  • Design skills a la Photoshop (as a nice to have)
  • An understanding of HTML and CSS would definitely stand you in good stead

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing and business development strategy and initiatives
  • Provide support to the region and Toronto/Toronto North Regional Marketing Leader in all areas of marketing including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website and social media
  • With oversight and review by the Toronto/Toronto North Regional Marketing Leader, the RMC will develop and lead the implementation of office, client group and service-specific marketing strategies, programs and activities to support existing client retention, targeted pursuit plans and referral mapping
  • Coordinate client prospect programs in conjunction with other marketing-related initiatives
  • Work with leaders in the region to identify accounts where further value can be brought to the client, using account-based marketing approaches to engage with the client
  • Develop creative campaign briefs and support concept development phases
  • Gather and compile market research for planning purposes
  • Maintain marketing materials including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment
  • Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients
  • Measure, understand and report on the impact of marketing activities, including using the firm’s ‘Performance Reporting’ methodology (where applicable). Analyze the reporting information and make recommendations / adjustments to plans and programs where required.
  • Build profile and relationships in regional marketplace, including with local influencers, media and community (e.g. through attendance at local events)
  • Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as directed by the Toronto/Toronto North Regional Marketing Leader


Skills and Experience

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, English, Journalism or related discipline
  • Minimum of three years experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process and project coordination
  • Digital Marketing understanding is an asset
  • Experience executing paid social media campaigns
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at a time while working independently
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A valid driver’s license is necessary as travel will be required
