Job description: Veterinarian, DVMDepartment: Emergency, ERLocation: Newmarket, ON404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is welcoming an Emergency Veterinarian permanently to join their team. Previous emergency experience is preferred and completion of an internship program is an asset. Our 24-hour emergency department is not only supported by our in-hospital team of specialists but also by our family of specialty hospitals. We are proud to be able to collaborate with our local sister hospitals, Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital and Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital in order to provide the best care for our patients. Our emergency department also receives additional support and guidance from the Critical Care department at Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital.Schedule:The emergency team works on a rotational schedule including overnights and weekends. This allows for even distribution of the shifts and an overall improved hospital experience.
