About the Role

Our Social Media Content Moderation team works to create a welcoming and safe place for people to build communities. As an Social Media Content Moderator, you will be an essential component of our client’s safety effort. We are looking for someone who can apply our guidelines with reference to nuanced and context-dependent policies in an evolving environment. You will make autonomous decisions against challenging issues of a potentially sensitive or business-critical nature

You Will:

  • Review products offered for sale on the client’s platform to ensure that they do not violate any current policies
  • Address audio content which may include offensive or derogatory language or other potentially distressing content
  • Identify trends that highlight gaps in social media policies
  • Demonstrate an understanding of market-specific legal and cultural practices that enable effective content review
  • Analyze and independently render decisions against high volumes of live and active issues regarding social media user behavior
  • Provide information, educate customer to update trackers, update required applications & tools and keep internal stakeholders informed of new issues
  • Be available to work within rotating shifts (Early Morning and/or late Night, weekends/ Long weekend/Statutory Holidays)

You Have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any one of these languages – Vietnamese
  • Clear awareness of potential biases or conflicts of interest and ensure these do not affect professional application of responsibilities
  • Deep familiarity with internet technology, streaming, internet slang/colloquialisms and internet culture
  • Evaluate information and quickly/independently develop a sound conclusion based on an existing framework
  • Mentally and emotionally able to handle offensive or disturbing language, and content
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently as part of a larger team
  • Ability to monitor several information flows simultaneously

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Bilingual Regional Marketing Consultant within the Wealth Marketing & Communications team, you will be a key member of the Advisor Marketing team in providing comprehensive marketing and communications support to more than 1000 Advisors across Canada. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Advisor Marketing your role will act as the primary contact and consultant for Private Wealth Advisors and branches within specific regions in Canada, to develop and implement Advisor’s client facing marketing plans and initiatives supporting the overall growth of the business.

Please note, this role can be performed out of Toronto or Montreal.

How You’ll Succeed

Relationship Management

With a regional scope servicing approximately 220 PWM Advisors you will engage on marketing communication support while developing key relationships with Advisory teams and branch stakeholders. You will ensure daily relations with key regional governance teams including compliance, RST and Business risk to ensure Advisor collateral and communications are compliant and approval workflow is maintained.

Marketing Delivery

Lead the delivery of small to mid scale marketing programs for the Advisor channel and manage the assets and delivery of marketing materials with a focus on digital. This includes liaising with Advisory teams and internal agency partners in the creation of, but not limited to: Advisor ads, websites, brochures, profile sheets, advertorials, media requests, newsletters, eDirects, blogs, podcasts, invitations, presentations, evites, ecards and templates. Maintaining KPIs and communicating results is key to success.

Marketing Planning

Work collaboratively, often as a subject matter expert, across Marketing teams and other lines of business and departments, on larger scale marketing programs and act as key support to the Senior Manager in annual marketing planning/objective setting.

You have a Bachelors or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field. Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or other relevant financial services industry designation is preferred.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing and communications initiatives, including media channel selection, advertising development and deployment, promotional events and other assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • A University degree in marketing, sales, communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an administrative assistant/support capacity, preferably in the tourism, hospitality or entertainment sectors.
  • Previous marketing or public relations experience.
  • Experience managing media plans and budgets.
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong research and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing, monitoring and updating websites and social media platforms an asset
  • Advanced skills in the MS Office environment, specifically PowerPoint (employee must be able to build superior and complex PowerPoint presentations)
  • Bilingualism (English/French) required.
