Salary: $48,000 – $55,000 per year
Job Description:
Our company is currently seeking a Special Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing all aspects of special events, including fundraisers, corporate events, and conferences. The Special Events Coordinator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all events run smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and organize all aspects of special events, including event logistics, promotion, and budget management
– Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and other partners to ensure successful event execution
– Develop event timelines, agendas, and marketing materials
– Work closely with internal teams to ensure all event goals and objectives are met
– Provide post-event evaluation and analysis to identify areas for improvement
– Monitor and track event budgets and expenses
– Serve as the main point of contact for all event-related inquiries
– Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to special events coordination
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
– Knowledge of fundraising techniques and practices is a plus
