  • Lead the development and design of high-impact pitch decks and presentations for key client/prospects, drawing on market insights and client strategies.
  • Respond to RFP’s: develop, manage, and coordinate pitch materials and financial incentives on Visa Direct components of client deals.

2. Run the business

  • Execute Visa Direct roadmap against overall commercial targets for all payment types and use cases
  • Responsible for developing and measuring annual revenue targets and scaling of Visa Direct use cases/solutions
  • Be the voice of the Canadian market to drive product prioritizations, network expansion etc.
  • Work closely with creative teams to shape, polish and ship impactful experiences and business development assets.

3. Champion money movement with internal and external stakeholders

  • Be a payments learner – recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing this business.
  • Develop and disseminate best practices to empower business development and account managers across the team to utilize strategies for client engagement.
  • Client interaction with corporate/treasury banks, Card Issuers, Acquirers, Processors and PSPs
  • Cross-functional interaction within Visa including Compliance, Client Readiness, Legal, Regulatory, Risk, Sales, Marketing, Product, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy and Technology

This role is responsible for both strategy and execution and will bring a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality to the position as you both lead and support a variety of our domestic and cross-border growth initiatives. People management responsibility may be added to this role, but at this time it is an individual contributorThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Payments experience, including experience in product, processing, and/or digital technology
  • Broad knowledge in electronic payments and digital transaction standards with ability to understand how use cases can be realized through payment technology
  • Interest in and understanding of domestic and cross border money movement use cases
  • Strong technical aptitude with understanding of predominant payment schemes, i.e. ACH, RTP, e-Transfers, EFT, SWIFT, RTR, FedNow, Cards.
  • Understanding of money movement networks, digital wallet aggregators, payment service providers is a plus.
  • Proven project management skills, strong attention to detail and execution focus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop, understand, synthesize, and communicate technical complexities to non-technical peers and clients, both senior and junior, in a simple and clear manner.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results.
  • Ability to inspire, influence, negotiate and drive results with those without direct management responsibility. Comfort leading and working closely with cross-functional teams required.
