Job description: DESCRIPTIONThe Sponsored Products Allocation and Pricing Team is responsible for auctions that drive a multi-billion dollar advertising program. We use data-driven approaches to make trade-offs between publisher, advertiser, and shopper concerns as a part of the Sponsored Products Ads program. Our vision is to delight customers with highly relevant ad experiences that help in product discovery, while driving traffic and sales for advertisers.As a Senior SDE on the Sponsored Products Allocation and Pricing Team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to build our next generation platform. You will leverage vast amounts of data and machine learning techniques to optimize auctions for Sponsored Products at Amazon. You will work with Product Managers, Economists and Scientists to solve complex problems at Amazon-scale, bringing your engineering skills together with the powers of AWS to launch solutions that will have direct customer impact. You will mentor and lead engineers as they deliver on your vision, setting a high bar for success and providing feedback to aid in their growth.Key job responsibilities

– 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
– 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
