  • Assisting in conducting geotechnical desktop studies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and soil mechanics
  • Familiarity with inputs and outputs for geotechnical software, such as SLOPE/W or SLIDE and SETTLE3D
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations

Desired Competencies:

  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Familiarity with geotechnical field testing methods and equipment
  • Experience with more advanced geotechnical software packages such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio
  • Knowledge of slope stability analysis and foundation design
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration
