  • Carry out various activities related to energy efficiency in buildings;
  • Assist in conducting energy audits (identification of measures, energy accounting, technical and economic analysis) for various types of buildings;
  • Conduct commissioning and recommissioning activities;
  • Analyze existing buildings’ utility bills and propose rate optimization solutions;
  • Contribute to the implementation of energy metering and submetering projects for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings;
  • Use well-known software to create energy modelling;
  • Conduct energy efficiency monitoring activities;
  • Prepare documents to obtain financial assistance related to energy efficiency;
  • Assist in designing strategies for implementing energy efficiency measures;
  • Draft energy retrofits feasibility reports and concept recommendations for projects;
  • Perform any other related duties deemed relevant to the position.

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other training deemed equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in energy efficiency
  • Experience in consulting engineering (considered an asset)
  • Initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills;
  • Good oral communication in French (considered an asset);
  • Knowledge of IESVE, eQuest, and RETScreen software (considered an asset)
  • CEM, LEED PA, CMVP and accredited recommissioning professional certifications (considered a plus)
