You possess a passion for social media, digital marketing, and the data connecting it all together. Having an appetite for proactively staying on top of the latest digital trends, platforms and social media channels is a must.
The successful Digital Account Executive candidate will join Edelman Digital, the world’s largest global social agency and part of Edelman, the largest PR firm in the world.
You will work in a team assisting to develop and execute content and community engagement strategies for our B2B & agriculture clients, execute point-in-time campaigns and projects and monitor channels for issues.

The Position and Who We Are Seeking
We are seeking a self-motivated Account Manager. You are fantastic at strategizing and executing search and digital marketing programs. You are analytical – you know how to delve into data and reveal actionable insights to clients. You are comfortable being the internal point person for a portfolio of clients and delighting clients is in your nature. You are great at explaining to clients how and why we are choosing specific search strategies, digital channels and paths to success.
The ideal candidate also has the ability to present and explain strategy to clients and to answer their questions clearly and cogently. The role includes regular client calls, emails, meetings and presentations; so the Strategist we are looking for isn’t only passionate about the work, but can also explain value, benefits and nuances to clients. You are an excellent communicator who is able to take strategic plans and analytical data and present them in a manner that is understandable to technical and non-technical clients alike.
Skill Set:
– prepare content calendars for content-based SEO programs and coordinate with clients and a writing team to execute on these plans
-Delegation to specialists that assist with implementation
-project management – you understand how to “keep the trains running on time”
– Strategic planning, in-phone, email and in-person presentation to clients including monthly reporting to clients.
-Coordinate link-building campaigns
– Coordinate content creation and paid search campaigns
– Implement best practice meta tags, header tags and meta descriptions
-Provide and explain monthly keyword/KPI reporting to clients and share core information with clients on touchpoints
You Have:
-University degree or college diploma preferred
– 3 plus years professional experience in a client facing or customer service role digital marketing /SEO understanding (agency or professional capacity strognly preferred).
– A self-starter willing to “step up” attitude
-A positive attitude and personality. You enjoy initiating, directing and managing accounts including planning and marketing activities.
– Strong writing, editing and presentation skills
-A “project ownership” mentality – when you take on a project you own it, start to finish.
-Excellent client relationship skills and a track record of successful account/client management
-Excellent problem solving skills – solutions-driven mentality
– track record of developing and executing SEO and SEM programs and demonstrating improvements to clients.
