This is a remote position; however, the candidate must be located in the Greater Toronto Area, as occasional in-person meetings or field outreach activities within the GTA may be required.What will you do?Reporting to the Senior VP, Sales and the VP, Digital, you will help grow CFIB’s reach within a specific business community; such as Spanish or Indian-speaking entrepreneurs or the Canadian manufacturing sector.This hybrid role will use digital and social engagement to introduce CFIB’s advocacy, savings, and support services to new audiences. The candidate will then use our proven sales engagement model via phone, video, or in person to secure new members and growth.Sales and Member Acquisition (60%)
- Identify and reach out to prospective small business owners in your target segment via phone, email, and networking.
- Present CFIB’s value proposition clearly and persuasively, tailored to the needs of each audience.
- Log activities and leads, provide weekly updates, and contribute to the learnings of this pilot program.
- Work closely with sales leaders to adapt outreach strategies based on results.
Community and Social Engagement (40%)
- Leverage your networks to promote CFIB’s mission via platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others.
- Co-create digital content in collaboration with CFIB’s social media and digital teams.
