  • SOCIAL COPYWRITING:You’re a versatile writer who will write a range (from funny to inspiring) content for social and digital channels, helping to build consumer love for your brand and establish cultural relevance in both the Quebec and the rest of Canada
  • CONTENT CREATION:You will write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks
  • SOCIAL OPTIMIZATION:You will optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors and established brand tone and voice
  • COLLABORATION:You will work with a Content Creator on images and videos to complement text, and co-create a wide range of social post types and concepts

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 2+ years of experience in a social team or creative department in a related role.
  • Advertising portfolio required.
  • A proven track record of writing for brands with a significant following, ideally for a CPG with emphasis on culinary/food brands.
  • A university or college diploma in marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred.
  • A history of being able to work with creative teams and strategists, providing expertise and influencing the brand’s strategy.
  • A love and deep understanding of social culture and trends.
  • Experience with a social media management platform (i.e. Sprout, Sprinklr, Khoros) is required.
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills in a group environment.
  • A passion for food, culinary arts, and food marketing
