Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to work with elementary school students in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing social and emotional support to students facing various challenges, collaborating with teachers and parents to create individualized intervention plans, and connecting students and families with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct assessments to identify students’ social and emotional needs
– Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students’ well-being
– Provide individual and group counseling to students to address challenges such as bullying, family issues, and mental health concerns
– Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration to create a supportive environment for students
– Advocate for students’ rights and access to resources within the school and community
– Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
