This roleAs our Events Manager, you will take our events program to the next level in Canada. You will work closely with the Marketing Team, Sales Team and Canadian Leadership Team, primarily focused on driving revenue through online, in-person and hybrid events. This includes our own events and partner events.The ideal candidate has deep experience running high quality events. They are comfortable working with external partners directly, and have strong written and verbal communicators. They are obsessed with metrics, and will collaborate well across marketing functions.As our Events Manager you will:
- Own the end-to-end execution of events in Canada, including online, hybrid, and in-person.
- Run and manage event projects against budgets and timelines.
- Build a community of engaged and active event participants in Canada – made up of industry partners, prospects and existing customers.
- Work closely with the brand and communications teams, including the design team to ensure events are consistent with content themes and that event collateral is designed to brand.
- Work closely with the growth marketing team to maximise Employment Hero’s reach and presence at third party Canadian events through sponsorships and partnerships.
- Work closely with Employment Hero’s sales, partnerships, marketing and product teams for event deliverables.
- Build strong event relationships with industry organisations and event suppliers in Canada.
- Report on event effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement or optimisation.

- At least 5 years experience running events end to end in Canada.
- An understanding of the Canadian events market.
