Job description: One of our clients is a US-based global producer and distributor of horticultural products (ornamentals, annuals, seeds, and flowers). Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a Regional Account Manager based in Ontario, Canada that will function as a “brand advocate” type located in that can represent a product line throughout Canada.The Role:
- Remote; based in Ontario
- Periodic travel up to 50%; focused in Ontario and BC but will include trips to other provinces.
- Must be authorized to be able to travel in the United States to the corporate office and trade shows.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and expanding sales by working with distribution partners, growers, greenhouses & nurseries, and retailers throughout Canada.
- Develop plans and strategies for sales growth in the regions, with input into forecast and budget.
- Actively promote and support the sale and use of products with key growers, primarily suppliers of larger retail customers, grower councils, and provide key grower account support.
- Represent the company (including preparing and delivering presentations to groups to promote products) at marketing and trade events including (but not limited to):
- Spring pack trials
- Trade shows
- Field trials
- Advanced trial meetings
- Regional grower meetings
- Coordinate sampling of new and existing varieties to growers and other influencers to demonstrate the performance attributes of new and existing products.

Job description: External Description:Digital Content CoordinatorThe Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the largest airline pilot union in the world and the largest non-governmental aviation safety organization in the world (representing over 78,000 pilots at 41 U.S. and Canadian airlines) seeks an experienced Digital Content Coordinator for our office in Toronto, Ontario, located in Mississauga. The Digital Content Coordinator provides digital content strategy, execution, and project coordination to advance and support the Air Canada Master Executive Council’s (MEC’s) Communications Committee and the Association’s Communications Department’s digital goals through content editing, posting, and maintenance of MEC websites, email communications, social media channels, and other ALPA platforms. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, for effective interaction with internal staff, external contacts, and pilots.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, take direction from multiple sources, and meet deadlines.
- Experience designing within the Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills with command of grammar, syntax, and usage.
- Ability to understand and decipher information and documents of a technical nature.
- Experience working with audio and video editing software a plus.
