Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Applications, you will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day support, configuration, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform.   • Lead the evaluation, scope, design, development, and deployment of changes to the Salesforce environments, ensuring adherence to change control protocols.
  • Manage the change control process and DevOps environments to ensure all modifications are thoroughly tested, documented, and approved before deployment.
  • Manage the implementation of system enhancements and integrations, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Act as a project manager for Salesforce-related initiatives, coordinating resources, setting and meeting targets, and ensuring timely delivery of projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the user community, track and resolve system, process, and data-related issues within set performance metrics.
  • Lead all system administrative functions including user account maintenance, workflows, reports and dashboards, scheduled jobs, and other routine tasks.
  • Support the Salesforce Administrator by providing expert-level second-tier support and managing escalations.
  • Lead development of new data integrations and automation of processes where feasible, and continually maintain data health and value.
  • Manage release updates and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity controls.
  • Provide technical subject-matter expertise of CRM best practices, business process design, data management, and overall functional capabilities of the Salesforce platform, and identify opportunities for the organization as new functionality is released.
  • Act as the liaison between users, vendors, and application development partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Salesforce Administrator certification required (CRT101).
  • 5+ years of work experience in a system administrator role responsible for fully managing a Salesforce environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in loading complex, related data sets into the Salesforce environment.
  • Expert understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in data management, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Experience with Salesforce Classic user interface and migration to Lightning is an asset.
  • Experience in the following technologies is an asset: Salesforce NonProfit Success Pack (NPSP), Form Assembly, Fundraise Up, S-Docs, and Demand Tools.
  • Proficient in Office 365 with expert-level skills in Excel.
  • Strong data management experience including developing scripts/jobs to standardize and cleanse data.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Experience with nonprofit processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Logical, process-oriented thinker with ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply to business challenges.
  • Ability to communicate both written and orally in English; French is an asset.

In this role, you will generate revenue for the foundation, primarily through coordination and execution of third-party events along with representation of MAWC in the community.   • Evaluate, approve and support the implementation of all donor/3^rd party events, developing a critical path, maintaining accurate records of fundraising activities and ensuring organizers have the tools (e.g., providing guidance, materials, volunteers, etc. to third party partners) to run a successful and compliant fundraising event.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing donors and sponsors, identify and establish relationships with new prospects, and execute on solicitation including cold calls for identified fundraising needs.

  • Coordinate and execute stewardship activities such as donor acknowledgement, gift processing, recognition pieces, partner mailings, alliance activations and fulfilment.

  • Provide support related to prospecting, including researching, meeting briefs, strategy briefs, etc.

Data Management Support:

  • Provide support when needed to the central P2P platform, Donor Drive, for fundraising pages (event creation, donor reporting, gift processing, etc).

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Post-secondary education in fundraising/business or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in the fundraising area (events, campaigns and working with volunteers), preferably in a multi-level organization within diverse communities. Supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Good oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to speak to groups of people in a variety of settings.
  • Ability and willingness to make cold calls for new business development.
  • Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills. Flexibility with changing priorities and ability to remain focused to meet targeted timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in using databases (Salesforce/Donor Drive) and ability to be able to train on databases; and the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Related post-secondary education, preferably in marketing and/or online marketing/e-commerce, or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of digital marketing experience in executing e-mail marketing campaigns, digital paid ad campaigns (including but not limited to Search, Social, PMAX, video and Remarketing), developing online marketing/online fundraising solutions, and GA4 analysis.
  • Experience in writing high-impact, relevant and engaging content for relevant target audiences that drive conversion and activation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with online data collection, analysis, and report development.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an asset.
  • Experience working in a large multi-level or non-profit organization an asset.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Applications, you will lead the development and management of Salesforce environments, overseeing DevOps processes, change control protocols, and coordination with development resources, while closely working with internal stakeholders.   • Lead the evaluation, scope, design, development, and deployment of changes to the Salesforce environments, ensuring adherence to change control protocols.
  • Manage the change control process and DevOps environments to ensure all modifications are thoroughly tested, documented, and approved before deployment.
  • Manage the implementation of system enhancements and integrations, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Act as a project manager for Salesforce-related initiatives, coordinating resources, setting and meeting targets, and ensuring timely delivery of projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the user community, track and resolve system, process, and data-related issues within set performance metrics.
  • Lead all system administrative functions including user account maintenance, workflows, reports and dashboards, scheduled jobs, and other routine tasks.
  • Support the Salesforce Administrator by providing expert-level second-tier support and managing escalations.
  • Lead development of new data integrations and automation of processes where feasible, and continually maintain data health and value.
  • Manage release updates and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity controls.
  • Provide technical subject-matter expertise of CRM best practices, business process design, data management, and overall functional capabilities of the Salesforce platform, and identify opportunities for the organization as new functionality is released.
  • Act as the liaison between users, vendors, and application development partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Salesforce Administrator certification required (CRT101).
  • 5+ years of work experience in a system administrator role responsible for fully managing a Salesforce environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in loading complex, related data sets into the Salesforce environment.
  • Expert understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in data management, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Experience with Salesforce Classic user interface and migration to Lightning is an asset.
  • Experience in the following technologies is an asset: Salesforce NonProfit Success Pack (NPSP), Form Assembly, Fundraise Up, S-Docs, and Demand Tools.
  • Proficient in Office 365 with expert-level skills in Excel.
  • Strong data management experience including developing scripts/jobs to standardize and cleanse data.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Experience with nonprofit processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Logical, process-oriented thinker with ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply to business challenges.
  • Ability to communicate both written and orally in English; French is an asset.
  • A clear Criminal Background Check will be required.

  • Enter and track national development partnerships and campaign deliverables in the Salesforce database.

Fundraising and Stewardship Support (50%)

  • Provide support related to prospecting, including researching, prospect briefs, meeting briefs, etc.
  • Attend and engage with external stakeholders at first party and third party events.

Administrative Support (25%)

  • Provide general administrative and communication support, including meeting coordination, mailings, social media scheduling related to national development partnerships, meeting minutes and follow-up, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records on prospects and corporate partners to assist the National Development team in developing appropriate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
  • Coordinate, maintain and manage inventory of fundraising related materials.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (National Office, Regional Offices, marketing team, mission team, partners/sponsors/donors, etc.).

*WHAT YOU BRING

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Fundraising, or other relevant fields, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in the fundraising area (events, campaigns and working with volunteers), preferably in a multi-level organization within diverse communities. Supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and on various tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal and data reporting skills.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT:

  • Create and manage content for regional initiatives for all local channels.
  • Participate in social media editorial meetings, providing social media metrics.
  • Create engaging wish stories and oversee volunteer and freelance writers.
  • Partner with select influencers and content creators to support local/regional initiatives in compliance with the national influencer strategy.
  • Manage, organize, and maintain video, story and photo archive and other communications materials for internal and external use.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Degree or diploma in communications, marketing, public relations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in communications or related roles.
  • Proven ability to generate media coverage, and the ability to be persistent in approaching and communicating with the media and the public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships with journalists, internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, wish families, and more.
  • Experience writing communications plans, strategies and tactics.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, including strong proofreading skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and project management skills, capable of working independently to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media content creation and community management. Experience with Canva, Meltwater, Salesforce, and Dropbox is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Experience in supporting fundraising professionals, and experience in issues management in relation to public relations and brand image, an asset.
  • A commitment to and passion for children’s health and charitable work. Understanding the nonprofit landscape is an asset.
  • A clear Criminal Background Check will be required.
