Innovation stage-gate business case development

  • Provide financial analysis on cross-functional project teams, inclusive of product launches, helping to build the financial business case P&L’s, challenging assumptions, providing insights and strategic direction for commercial activities
  • Serve as a key financial resource in new product development teams in defining customer pricing requirements. Model pricing strategy and margin expectations on new product launches.

Budgeting and planning

  • Integral member of the S&OP process by providing Sales and Marketing support from demand forecasting to financial modeling.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing Teams in their forecast for the balance of the year as well as looking to continuously improve on departmental forecast submissions
  • Partner with Marketing to lead the financial modeling of potential promotional activities, analyze the impact of new business proposals, and manage overall margins as it relates to product pricing and promotions.

Marketing Support

  • Support financial analysis for business decisions impacting marketing expenditures, including preparing reports with supporting documentation for monthly review of marketing expenditures
  • Produce postmortem financial analysis on investment profitability and effectiveness vs. ROI/Business case
