The Marketing Automation Senior Associate will support the creation and performance of program flows across all stages of the customer lifecycle. Leveraging Marketo, they will also partner with the Digital and Portfolio Marketers to deploy and manage integrated marketing campaigns ranging a variety of objectives. From demand generation, to onboarding to loyalty, and reactivation flows that drive awareness for Nasdaq’s offerings, the Marketing Automation Senior Associate will be a key contributor in nurturing prospects through a complex buyer’s journey and fueling client satisfaction that will lead to lower customer acquisition costs and higher lifetime value of each customer.
The Senior Associate, Marketing Automation will report to the Head of Performance Marketing for the Financial Technology Division with a dotted-line to the Head of Marketing for European Markets & Listings. This role will collaborate with the GTM Marketing Team, broader Digital Marketing and the Funnel Manager to develop programs that will drive success against defined KPIs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, QA, and deploy email campaigns from one-off sends to automated persona-based, industry-based and audience-based drips and account-based nurtures
  • Develop and QA various marketing programs outside of emails, including event and webinar programs, forms, landing pages and general data management
  • Review all campaigns before launch to ensure error free execution in copy, design and implementation
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing
  • Collaborate with the creative team to improve the look & feel, as well as attractiveness and quality of our emails
  • Analyze email programs across objectives and audiences to develop benchmarks to measure improvement (click-through, forwards, etc.)
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow our global database of emailable contacts in collaboration with the GTM team in accordance with industry standards
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth
  • Continuously surface insights to optimize send time, email subject lines, CTA language, and placement, post-submitter nurture strategy
  • Assist in providing “closed loop” reporting – tying Marketing’s efforts to sales revenue
