You will report to the Events Manager (based in Ireland) and collaborate closely with internal teams, including the Marketing Director (based in Toronto, Canada), and the CMO (based in California), as well as external vendors to deliver impactful and memorable experiences for our clients, partners, and employees.The preferred location in the Eastern Region of Canada facilitates seamless collaboration across the marketing team, ensuring alignment with European and North American time zones and efficient project delivery. Additionally, the proximity to a major international airport allows for convenient travel to events as needed (expected 1-2 times quarterly).Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination or a related field, with a track record of successfully managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, timeline creation, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders – including senior people / business executives
  • Familiarity with event technology platforms, virtual event tools, and social media marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate with others / cross-functionally – both with other Marketing team members (digital marketing, social media, etc) as well as key Business Unit stakeholders (including Leadership and Sales)

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of all event aspects including logistics and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of events, including conferences, webinars, workshops, client events, and internal team-building activities.
  • Source and manage vendors for various event needs, including venues, catering, audio-visual equipment, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective event promotion strategies, including email campaigns, social media, and content creation.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including registration, travel, accommodations, and onsite management.
  • Support the Events Manager in analyzing event data and feedback to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future event strategies.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring all operations run smoothly.
