As a Senior Product Owner on the Research & Learn Journey Optimization team, within Digital Mobility, you’ll work with our Marketing and Product stakeholders to deliver new and optimized end-to-end journeys that bring the digital experience for our products and services to life! You will be responsible for the journey optimization portfolio on our TELUS.com/mobility site, along with the overall strategy and success of those initiatives. You will work with a diverse team of talent to conceptualize, implement, monitor, measure and optimize these experiences.

Here’s how

  • Inspire team with defined outcomes, customer goals, product vision and provide a big picture narrative to the team
  • Serve as the primary source of external information for the Scrum team, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value to the customer, and functional/non-functional requirements
  • Work closely with your UI/UX, market researcher and analytics prime to identify opportunities for journey optimization along with metrics to measure for success
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define the digital journey for net new experiences and capabilities
  • Understand TELUS’ business priorities and expected outcomes and develop tangible roadmap – proactively manage the product backlog and prioritize based on feedback and value
  • Understand customer needs, be the voice of the customer and tell the full Product Story
  • Collaborate with product owners from other portfolios to drive best practices and consolidated experiences and interdependent roadmaps and technology investments to achieve mutual business objectives
  • Build organizational support and understanding of the strategic direction for the digital experience and growth opportunities
  • Accountable for product KPIs and to report progress, provide ongoing communication to stakeholders on progress
  • Accountable for the product’s overall health including security, accessibility and performance

Qualifications

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Post secondary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years digital product management experience, specifically in building end-to-end digital experiences and technical capabilities
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Solid understanding of the digital landscape and customer trends
  • Excellent project delivery skills, with proven accomplishments leading cross-functional projects
  • Experience building personalized journeys for specific segment groups
  • Critical thinker who draws insightful decisions leveraging solution based problem solving
  • Data informed, uses metrics and measurements in decision making
  • An Agile “mindset” and the flexibility to adapt to new and evolving environments
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Kanban, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework experience (SAFe)
  • Experience with Agile tools, such as; Jira, Confluence
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skill

As the Product Owner you are the main point of contact for any topics related to the project. You will lead a clear strategy and implement new tactics, new actions to drive the success of the platform. Together with the marketing team you will ensure the vision for the customer journey comes to life. You will ensure strong communication and drive the Marketing and PR communication strategy. · You will ensure day to day tasks are met consistently to run the marketplace at a high level

· Communicate with the agency on any changes to rules and regulations in Canada which may impact project i.e updated privacy laws, taxes)

· You will complete administrative tasks in accounting, invoicing, budgeting, follow up on costs and forecast

· Your will manage and coordinate the GDPR/Data Server processing activities and the H&M owned data on servers in conjunction with global compliance and local security depts

· You will work on any design and copy updates (Collaboration with the agency, Internal designer, and Global teams). Work on the elaboration and implementation of the V2 version based on clear conclusions and ambitious vision.

· Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning, and implementation.

· Partner with the PR team to ensure communications tactics occur during timely moments and to sustain the overall message.

· Analyze the overall communications tactics to see where our ROI is to help shape future communication plans.

Qualifications

Story Behind the Need: Digital Communications is seeking a Product Owner to partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy and capabilities for omni channel communications. This role will sit under the Digital Communications team lead and will work cross-platform to ensure omni-channel experiences are considered. Working closely with other Product Owners to understand platform capabilities, user journeys and stakeholder needs this candidate will manage and operationalize their role in the communications roadmap.

Business Group: The digital communication capabilities team partners with the broader product, digital marketing, service and design teams, as well as overall bank stakeholders and vendors to conceptualize and implement world class communications solutions.

Typical Day in the Role:
– Lead the research and discovery of new capabilities to close experience gaps and cross-channel gaps. Including but not limited to sales enablement, targeting, presentment and orchestration capabilities.
– Bridge journeys across core platforms and different communication tools/ resources
– Manage relationships with key stakeholders, product teams, and business lines to manage expectations, requirements, and evangelize capabilities.
– Keep current on market and industry trends and developments and potential roles they could play within our roadmap.

Must Have Skills:
1) 5+ years of experience in a similar Product Owner Role
2) 5+ years of experience working within an Agile environment demonstrating expert organizational acumen
3) 5+ years of experience with communication capabilities and technology

Nice to Have Skills:
– Marketing experience
– Experience in JIRA, submitting tickets, writing user stories, etc
– FS/FI experience is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of product strategies and processes and a demonstrated ability to apply them considered and asset
– Any sort of hands of development, coding, engineering background is highly preferred

Education and Certifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in related field
– Masters or equivalent strongly preferred
