RBC Ventures team is hiring a Senior Manager, Performance Marketing to help accelerate the growth of Mydoh, a new and growing app that helps parents raise financially literate kids. This role will be responsible for attracting & acquiring parents in key digital channels including App Store, Google Play Store, Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, other social; and should be familiar with all mobile app acquisition/growth tactics.

This marketer should be relentlessly hungry to deliver results and needs to be well-versed in Canada’s digital media landscape, ad tech, analytics & digital marketing channels. They will be involved the creative process to create & optimize best in class, top performing ads and copy while also accountable for day over day digital acquisition results.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the daily management, execution and in-platform optimization of all mobile application acquisition including: paid social, search and all digital campaigns for Mydoh
  • Manage and report on budget and pacing, identify gaps in the media activation process and collaborate with colleagues & business leaders of all experience levels
  • Identify and create paid digital campaigns backed with rationale, supported with data
  • Brief strategic design partners on how to take campaign ideas to the next level while handling the ability to lightly modify creative within the Adobe Suite & Figma
  • Monitor and be personally accountable for performance against campaign and marketing KPI’s such as CR%, CPi, CPA, CTR, ad copy performance churn and retention
  • Continuously assess mobile application performance to optimize both in-platform advertising as well as recommend app enhancements
  • Deliver set up know-how and in-depth analysis of mobile measurement partner tools (MMP)
  • Guide advanced tag setup and maintenance using an MMP
  • Relentlessly report & visualization data – tell the acquisition story

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • 7-10 years of experience in digital media planning and performance marketing execution
  • In-depth understanding of both website and in-app conversion tracking, including an extensive knowledge of attribution modelling through SKadNetwork and last click
  • Ability to recognize a challenge and take pride in helping towards the solution
  • Thrives in fast moving environments with the ability to effectively deliver on multiple deadlines simultaneously (agency experience a plus)
  • SME for user acquisition through channels such as Paid Social, In-app and Programmatic advertising
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management, managed self-serve campaigns, ability to rationalize investment levels and allocations

Flex your digital marketing skills as part of Deloitte’s dynamic Digital Performance Marketing team.

What will your typical day look like?

In an entrepreneurial environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing SEO support to a variety of clients. The Senior Associate will work closely on a team that serves a diverse client base and have the opportunity to be cross trained across the digital marketing spectrum.

About the team

Our Digital Performance Marketing group at Deloitte provides enterprise organizations with world-class digital marketing services; including retail E-Commerce marketing, digital media planning and buying, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Email Marketing and web analytics.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in SEO
  • Experience in SEO industry tools
  • Knowledgeable in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and/or other web analytics applications
  • Excellent communication and business writing
  • Self-starter who is highly organized and can work with minimal direction
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Digital marketing, campaign execution and media buying is an asset
  • Web development experience is as asset
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in business management/marketing
