Job description: DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to oversee our Certified Pre-Owned Mobile Devices category. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction within this product category.Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive strategies for the Certified Pre- Owned Mobile Devices category, including pricing, assortment, promotion, and placement
- Product Selection: Curate a diverse and appealing assortment of certified pre- owned mobile devices to meet the needs and preferences of our target customers
- Pricing Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to develop competitive pricing strategies that drive sales and profitability
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and marketing materials to drive awareness and sales of certified pre-owned mobile devices
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory, while maximizing inventory turnover and profitability
- Performance Analysis: Monitor category performance metrics, including sales, margin, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction, and take proactive measures to address any issues or opportunities
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for certified pre-owned mobile devices, and implement quality assurance processes to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, and customer service, to achieve category objectives and drive overall business success
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth within the certified pre-owned mobile devices category, and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail or e-commerce, with a focus on category management, product management, or merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights to drive business results.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies that drive sales and profitability.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Knowledge of the mobile devices market and industry trends is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
