  • Assist with planning cut load for several Zund machines on a daily basis
  • Maintain a high volume, high quality workflow that meets customer demand
  • Troubleshoot issues independently or seek help as needed to minimize downtime
  • Brainstorm strategies to improve quality, reduce issues, decrease cost per page
  • Perform ongoing and as needed maintenance on the Zund machines
  • Learn from expert technicians to reduce additional outsourced repair costs
  • Encourage safe and productive work behavior through example and communication
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Production Manager or Team Lead
  • Communicate openly with management about concerns regarding processes, equipment, software and/or employee issues and inventory needs

What we’re looking for:

  • Education or some practical experience in the Graphic Arts or Printing field
  • Strong mathematical skills and technical orientation.
  • Good understanding of workflows and process organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for an 8-10 hour shift.
  • High proficiency in Windows OS, G-suite and Microsoft office.

Requirements:

  • Has education or work experience in the Graphic Arts and/or Printing field
  • Has 1-2 years experience in the print industry
  • Strong understanding of workflows and process organization
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills
  • Can lift 50 lbs and is able to stand for the duration of an 8 to 10-hour shift.

  • Plan and executes the large format print scheduling on a daily basis
  • Follow established process as outlined by production management and in accordance to SOP’s
  • Maintain a continuous workflow on Epson, HP and Mimaki printers
  • Troubleshoot common issues independently and escalate according to company standard
  • Perform consistent and constant maintenance on the large format machinery
  • Learn from expert technicians to reduce additional outsourced repair costs
  • Communicate openly with coworkers and management about concerns regarding processes, equipment, software and/or employee issues and inventory needs,
  • Train other members of the Production Team when required,
