Basic Qualifications:
PhD student or MSc recent graduate in a discipline relevant to NLP/IR/ML/Statistics,

Software engineering skills for prototyping, Proficiency in implementing solutions using Python, DL frameworks, and relevant tools

Utilizing advanced natural language processing (NLP) techniques, our system will categorize M&A documents into relevant classes and based on classification further information extraction and summarization will happen.
Named Entity Recognition and Resolution:
Description: We are embarking on an ambitious project to develop a cutting-edge Entity Identification and Resolution System that transcends domain boundaries, with a primary focus on domains such as legal, public records, tax, and other specialized fields. This involves implementing state-of-the-art NER models that can accurately identify and classify entities, including but not limited to organizations, individuals, locations, legal entities, citations, patents, and trademarks adopting the latest advancements in contextual embeddings, pre-trained language models, and transfer learning techniques to enhance entity recognition across domains. We leverage techniques from the fields of Information Retrieval (IR), Named Entity Recognition (NER), recommendation systems, classification, LLMs, AI explainability, and user-centric design.

About The Role

The Director, Shared Capabilities & DevOps will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of common digital capabilities, ensure common capabilities can easily be leverage by other engineering teams, and ensure governance around re-use and expansion of shared capabilities. Further, this role will also establish state-of-the-art DevOps capabilities and implement CI/CD pipelines for fully automated digital builds and on-demand releases.

In addition, this role will be responsible for highly available, performant, and secure digital applications. As such, this role will lead digital technology operations including digital service and support management, delivering modern monitoring capabilities, optimizing support operating model, and leading a continuous improvement roadmap. The role will direct the team in implementing SRE solutions (monitoring and alerting, machine learning anomaly detection, self-healing and reliability testing) while striving to reduce toil using automation tools, and maintain technology currency (perform server patching, version updates, certificate renewal, etc.) with a view on automation.


About the Role

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities/accountabilities:
