Job Description
HR Coordinator
Location: Toronto, ON
Type: Contract
We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator for a short-term contract position with one of our clients in the Toronto area. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and assisting with various HR-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
– Coordinate new hire orientations and onboarding processes
– Maintain employee files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
– Assist with benefits administration and enrollment
– Process and track employee time-off requests and maintain accurate records
– Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
– Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Qualifications:
– 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
– Experience with HRIS systems is a plus
