  • Leads all aspects of product management for product development, pricing, distribution, and regulatory requirements including working with partners on campaigns, rates, digital enablement and marketing with a focus on delivering business line results.
  • Partners with Deposit, Lending and Payment Teams to envision and establish strategic partnerships that drive primary relationships. Plays a leadership role in vendor management related to Chequing Products.
  • Develops and executes business line strategies that align with targets, divisional and overall business goals. Works with partners as required to implement strategic direction.
  • Leads and oversees key projects related to the business lines as required. May include new product launches, policy reviews etc.
  • Partners with Deposit and Payment teams to articulate the Chequing Product Strategy; works closely with Lending, Credit Risk Management and operations teams to define Overdraft Product Strategy
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Support the business to deliver great customer experience:
  • Collaborates with Client Experience and other functions to envision, business case, test, and deploy digital innovations, along with developing user experience journeys for the Deposit products.
  • Communicates Chequing strategies and tactics internally with staff members to ensure collaboration and alignment.
  • Reports and manages the KPI’s and KRI’s for the Chequing business, including establishing departmental goals, projects and operational initiatives aligned with key business objectives.
  • Ensures that all Chequing priorities are aligned strategically and have been validated through both qualitative and quantitative methods, including consumer feedback.
  • Partners with the Product Agile Squads and Marketing to develop and implement marketing tactics that will target value conscious Canadians and clients to help drive profitable volume growth.
  • Leading a team:
  • Provides strong strategic leadership to motivate and develop leaders and build collaborative and cross-functional team performance.
  • Works with members of the organization to create, reinforce and ensure that culture is aligned with defined organizational values.
