  • Ensures accuracy and integrity of data, including but not limited to proactive records management, generating mailing lists, coding of records and data mining.
  • Records donor and prospective donor activity in a timely manner and supports Foundation staff in their data entry.
  • Performs gift entry and donations processing, including issuing charitable receipts in accordance with Canadian Revenue Agency standards, producing gift acknowledgements, renewal letters and pledge payment reminders.

  • Performs administrative functions for SALC & Outreach as assigned by the Manager.
  • Provides administrative support for program functions, special events, consumers’ councils and interagency activities, including activities such as booking rooms and preparing materials.
  • Receive food drop-off donations from the delivery service and ensure proper handling
  • Help to set up and clean up the Food Bank area before and after service
  • Distribute food items to clients in a friendly and respectful manner

What You Will Do
The Digital Experiences Associate role focuses on the third of these 3 focal points for the DTO. As we establish our work in this domain, we are looking for support with several deliverables related to our:

  • Client experiences and client journeys
  • Technology solutions supporting digital channels of client engagement
  • AI & automation
  • Digital literacy & productivity

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s in a discipline related to business, technology, digital, data, marketing or some other related field—completed or in progress.
  • Strong ability to coordinate and support work across multiple different projects
  • Drive and ability to learn quickly and effectively across a diverse range of project types and sectors
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with sound decision-making skills
  • High degree of comfort with Microsoft suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.), with experience in a BI tool an asset

Must meet the participant requirements under the Canada Summer Jobs Agreement with Employment and Social Development Canada as outlined:

  • be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period*
  • be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment**; and,
