Using a variety of industry and proprietary software tools and under the direction of project leadership, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Serve as the focal point for administrative and documentation activities, scope, and budget requirements of assigned projects
  • Write and edit procedures, review calculations, and other project related documents in accordance with Sargent & Lundy and/or client requirements
  • Gather the appropriate information to generate reports for the projects you have been assigned
  • Prepare documents and drawings for transmittal and document storage. This could include, drafting correspondence, data entry, copying and distribution, document tracking, and electronic filing
  • Process and track financial data, such as forecasts, payments, and open commitments
  • Provide change management controls for multiple contractors, equipment, and other project resources
  • Support driving of projects to meet key schedule, cost, and quality metrics for project success, under the direction of project management
  • Generate materials status reports and update materials request dates
  • Learn and implement project controls tools and methodology
  • Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests/needs
  • Analyze data and build reports to support project monitoring and decision making
  • Interface regularly with project management to support monitoring cost performance
  • There is the potential for you to travel to client office for project coordination meetings

Qualifications:Essential skills and experience:

  • Familiarity with the practical application of project controls
  • 3+ years of project experience
  • Post-secondary graduate
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levels.
  • Motivation: Eager to learn new skills and develop knowledge to add make a valuable impact to project team operation. Willing to engage with others to understand project team needs. Committed to deliver high quality, accurate deliverables with attention to detail.
