The Digital Marketing Intern This person will be responsible for creating and enhancing Goodszilla’s social media presence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a creative mind and passion for marketing and social media.
What are you going to do: Description: Content production & scheduling for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Editing photography & videos. Launching and managing social pages on new platforms such as TikTok. Working within a dynamic and fast paced environment, you will have experience and understanding of digital B2B2C campaigning and the ability to adapt marketing initiatives and materials to suit audiences across Canada
Working with the Digital Marketing team, you will have experience across the full marketing mix and will be assist with the creation, implementation, and reporting of marketing programs to support the expansion and growth of the company’s marketplace and products, globally.
Responsibilities:
· Support the organizations digital marketing initiatives across various channels and platforms to drive engagement, leads, sales, and loyalty across Canada
· Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases and LinkedIn)
· Work directly with team to promote and drive traffic to the online marketplace and social media platforms
· Assist with the implementation of marketing and communications campaigns or campaign initiatives, working alongside other digital marketing team members,and partner
· Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of social media campaigns to increase social engagement across all platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok)
· Support our email marketing execution by managing the creation, testing, and deployment of email campaigns through our marketing automation platform
· Contribute to the enhancement of our SEO strategy by implementing best practices including keyword research, tagging, and link building
· Collaborate and coordinate with Charity partners, brands and marketing teams to create campaigns and event landing pages
· Create dashboards, monitor campaigns, and communicate results, both written and verbal, to the marketing team and internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
· Analyze digital marketing data and user behavior patterns to provide insight and optimize user engagement and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
· Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required Experience
· A minimum of 1-2 years of B2B2C digital marketing experience with organizational skills and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
· Studying towards a Bachelors/Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
· Experience executing effective paid and organic social media campaigns
· Familiarity with UI/UX design and content management systems
· Familiar setting up and running email campaigns (A/B Testing, audience segmentation, triggered campaign)
· Familiar with Adobe Illustrator
· Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads
· Familiarity with Account Based Marketing principles and technology solutions
· Good understanding of SEO and SEM
