About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join one of the top fundraising teams in Canada as we advance our mission To Conquer Cancer in Our Lifetime.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, Brand and Digital, the Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of all our brand related activities for the Foundation. You will play a critical role in managing day-to-day agency relationships as well as supporting paid media campaigns from brief to execution. If you have exceptional communication skills, a knack for problem solving and a passion for great creative, this role is for you.

While a hybrid work environment exists, time at the office is expected (700 University Avenue, Toronto)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of marketing plans
  • Play a key role in supporting the flawless project management across various campaigns and channels
  • Prepare and present marketing briefs to the Creatives Services team as needed to support various communications initiatives
  • Manage campaign tracking, status reports and work back schedules
  • Manage the weekly and ad-hoc reporting on all marketing communications
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with creative and media partners as well as third party vendors and donors as required
  • Support in analytics of website traffic data as well as paid media campaign status

Skills & Qualifications

  • A university degree or college diploma in marketing or advertising
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working at an Agency or client-side, with demonstrated client service experience
  • Experience with development and detailed oversight of work back schedules, management of status reports, budget tracking, etc
  • Experience using Hootsuite, Meltwater, Google Analytics, MailChimp, web CMS (or similar products), and CRM tools a strong asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proactive, engaged self-starter who is driven to learn, contribute ideas, improve processes, and who works collaboratively while also being comfortable initiating projects and working autonomously

  • Deliver the ROI based digital marketing projects in support of global brand initiatives and campaigns.

  • Report on status, risks, and successes related to digital marketing deliverables

Digital Marketing in Mid/Low Funnel

  • Drive digital marketing ROI beyond the historical focus on acquisition.
  • Working in collaboration with martech, automation and development teams to deliver best in class digital experience in acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Deliver reporting that informs and enhances lower funnel digital marketing
  • Create global consistency where possible

Digital Marketing Platforms

  • Work with brand, content, and PR to improve social strategy and execution
  • Provide guidance for each brand’s mobile app and customer portals
  • Continually improve the functionality, usability, and design of the brand websites

Digital Marketing Reporting

  • Ensure global consistency in reporting and benchmarking across digital marketing

Digital Marketing Team Management

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Understanding of the B2B environment – An essential part of the role is to understand the principles of B2B marketing and how to implement activities that will have an impact on brand and sales.
  • Digital marketing acumen – An understanding of digital marketing mediums and how the various platforms play a role in integrated marketing strategies for the B2B segment is required.
  • Project planning – Global Digital Marketing Lead will work closely with other departments and the corporate marketing teams to create consensus, build plans, and track progress.
  • Analysis and reporting – To ensure that plans are always cost effective as we strive for brand development, lead generation and customer success, reporting is an essential part to creating accountability.
  • People Management – Combine empathy with functional knowledge to motivate and support digital marketing teammates.

Position Requirements:

This is the senior digital role for corporate brands, a multi-billion-dollar portfolio including FCM and Corporate Traveller. As such, candidates require in excess of 7 years of dedicated digital experience with at least 5 of these years in a similar role in regarded brands.

  • 5-7 years in Digital Marketing Management – Digital Marketing Manager, Director of Digital Marketing or similar
  • MBA in Marketing, Analytics, Management preferred
  • Previous experience in global organisations with proven ability to scale a business through digital success
