The successful candidate is uniquely qualified to leverage cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, development, infrastructure, and operations) and ensure we release products that our customers will get excited about. This role will specifically focus on development of a Climate Suite of products, both as a direct offering to customers and also as a feature that’s embedded into well established business lines withing Stantec.

Your Key Responsibilities

Understand the client’s experience with the product, driving the product roadmap and prioritizing based on customer and market needs

Develop and document business cases for potential products/product features embedded into Stantec’s current offerings

Create user stories, personas, and storyboards for external customers and internal users

Build and maintain the product roadmap

Manage and communicate the product vision, product-market fit and profit/loss

Work with solutions and applications architects to ensure products meet platform principles

Deliver effective communication to the customer base

Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

Support sales engagements which include partner relationship management, competitive analysis, market research and go to market strategy

Work with Product Owners to coordinate, prioritize and oversee backlogs for teams developing products across the platform

Work with Director of Strategy and Governance to develop product pricing and positioning strategies

Support product prioritization by ensuring delivery of features/products that support Stantec’s Strategic Growth Initiatives

Education and Experience

University degree in Business Administration, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another engineering related field

Two years’ experience implementing go-to-market product processes in an engineering and science product category

Two years’ experience implementing successful product development and management strategies

5 Years of progressive experience in the AEC industry

Industry experience with the target industry/users

About the Role: Reporting to the Senior Digital Operations staff, the Digital Operations Specialist will:

Efficiently and effectively execute digital media projects for clients through web advertising, webinars, email campaigns, and content syndication

Execute and deploy email marketing campaigns

Traffic and deploy ads in ad-serving platforms and confirm launch success

Webinar production: lead rehearsal and live event, execute promotions to capture registrations, and respond to technical questions/concerns from speakers and/or attendees

Act as a customer success liaison with clients and collect all client material

Confirm all material adheres to tech and creative specifications; support creative/technical related inquiries from clients

Maintain internal tracking/scheduling documents

Client reporting: generate campaign reports in set intervals, apply data to customer-facing templates, and provide campaign analysis

Demonstrate exceptional prioritization, organization, and time management skills

Adhere to digital operations processes and brand best practices

Successful completion of post-secondary education in a related field

1-2 years of execution experience in media, communications, or related field

Excellent project management and communication skills

Process driven, high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines at a time

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully meet tight deadlines

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

Knowledge of digital media execution platforms is an asset (Marketo, CRM systems, digital ad flighting, webinars, email deployment, content management, social media)

Digital Main Street has partnered with Mosaic to deliver The Canada Digital Adoption Program in Ontario. CDAP is designed to assist small business owners with digital transformation and is part of a Government of Canada initiative profiled in the media recently by The Globe and Mail and the Prime Minister of Canada.

We are looking for recent grads and post-secondary students across Ontario who are passionate about supporting small businesses overcome the challenges of digital transformation and succeed in the “new normal” of commerce. The Canada Digital Adoption team will be comprised of digital innovators, with the proven ability to build meaningful connections and lead through change.

In this role, you’ll receive training from corporate partners such as Bookmark, Facebook, Google, Lightspeed, Mastercard, Shopify, Square Online and more, equipping you to support small businesses with growing their business online. A combination of interactive modules, on-demand webinars and online courses over 35 hours of onboarding will prepare you, as an eCommerce Advisor, to provide:

  • Consultations on eCommerce platform solutions
  • 1:1 support building and launching a customized online store
  • Education on cybersecurity and readiness planning
  • Training on how to build a digital marketing plan

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution
  • Be a top tier communicator (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to create meaningful relationships through a variety of remote media and nurture those relationships over time
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated success in a client facing customer service, digital marketing or business strategy role
  • Be familiar with digital technologies for small business (e.g: web, social media, e-commerce)
  • Must have access to a computer/laptop
  • The below would be considered a strong asset:
  • Previous examples of success with eCommerce platforms
  • Experience with online and offline marketing
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or a person of whom refugee protection has been confirmed
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Ontario
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number
  • Must be available for the following schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
  • Must be able to commit to the Contract length: 4 months from January 9th, 2023 – April 14, 2023
  • Wage: $20.00 an hour paid as salary based on 40 hours a week
