Working under direction from Director, Stakeholder Communications and Marketing, the incumbent, will be responsible for creating visual concepts for a variety of digital and print communications channels, including social media and the web, as well as signature collateral materials for events and targeted communications and campaigns. Areas of focus include supporting the development of materials to engage potential partners, donors and alumni, current and future students, faculty and staff and other key stakeholders. The Graphic Design Specialist provides art direction and graphic design to support the Faculty’s strategic priorities and provides production and stewardship in the areas of design, brand, visual identity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing production schedules, including milestones, critical path, deliverables and reporting
  • Determining technical requirements for graphic design productions or projects
  • Creating and producing graphic designs that reflect departmental and/or divisional objectives
  • Consulting with and advising clients on graphic design
  • Verifying that all marketing/communication collateral adheres to brand identity and University style guides
