Job SummaryThe General Helper will be responsible for preparing, presenting and serving meals, ensuring the quality of the food and overall presentation.Now, if you were to come on board as one of our General Helpers, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Dispense food for next day of production and plate individual meals.
  • Conduct work in accordance with safety standards.
  • Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
  • Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work in various workstations including meal distribution area (packaging).
  • Willing to learn skid wrapping of finished product.
  • Food preparation and cooking as needed

What you will bring to our firm:

  • A Technologist diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in construction design-consulting.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design software such as Microstation and AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Ontario Traffic Manuals, Lighting Standards, Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Highway Traffic Act, and Technical Manuals published by the Transportation Association of Canada.

What we prefer you bring:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in traffic signal and street lighting design, ideally in a design-consulting or utility environment.
  • Eligibility for or attainment of CTech or CET certification.
  • Knowledge of various municipal and MTO lighting and traffic signal design standards.
  • Proficiency with light calculation software such as AGI32 or Autolux.
  • Experience with O.Reg 22/04 certification and liaising with utility authorities.
  • Experience with pole loading software, such as SPIDAcalc or equivalent.
  • Experience performing electrical site inspections, construction supervision, and contract administration.

Technical Support (90%)
Maintain system configurations; update approved configuration changes in non-production environments.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and modify integrations between UKGPro WFM and 3rd party systems.
Support and monitor existing configuration and change requests to said configuration
Support configuration and monitoring of physical timeclock devices, mobile applications, and kiosks
Monitor the ServiceNow assignment group for incidents and requests. Resolve issues and respond to new requests per standard SLAs.
Manage security administration for the application, including creation and maintenance of user profiles, permissions, roles
Help resources manage configuration, including Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, and Absence Management
Perform regular security reviews to identify separated employees, audit segregation of duties, and system access to ensure appropriate access based on Job responsibilities.
