What Are We Looking For?
As Account Strategist (Digital), your primary focus is to create, manage, optimize and report on digital direct response campaigns, ensuring seamless day to day operations to delight clients and meet/exceed the goals of each campaign.
Activities and Expectations include:
Campaign Strategy & Optimization
- Build campaign strategies designed to achieve client campaign goals
- Execute and manage campaigns from start to finish, on-time and on-budget
- Present ideas, insights, results & industry knowledge clearly and effectively
- Analyze campaigns to develop strategic recommendations moving forward
Team Leadership & Organization
- Coordinate projects/tasks and setting timelines with coordinators & interns
- Take ownership and manage projects & deliverables, at the direction of managers/directors
- Management and training of coordinators & interns
- Foster a collaborative team environment and coach, mentor & inspire staff to produce the best work
Day-to-Day Operations
- Communicate with clients on reports, ad copy & campaign details
- Analysis of progress & final reports to share with clients
- Research and share new information about digital advertising, SEM and paid social techniques
- Manage trafficking, tagging and campaign details to ensure campaigns launch & run as planned
- Work effectively and efficiently with Google campaign management tools & ad serving software
Essential Skills
- Understanding of marketing principles and ability to think strategically
- 1 -2 years of experience actively managing digital media campaigns, developing tactical recommendations to improve performance, with a specialization in any of the following digital ad channels
- o Paid Search, Display/Programmatic Media Buying
- o Digital Audio, Digital Out of Home
- o Connected TV or digital video ad buying
- An inquisitive nature and a strong drive to continuously learn about digital marketing, media and search
- Strong quantitative to work with data and uncover trends
- Strong client service focus
- Team player; flexible with ability to quickly switch focus and easily adapt to change
- Independent self-starter with excellent organizational, time, project and self-management skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Attention to detail, precise execution and follow up
- Advanced proficiency with MS office applications (especially Excel)
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Solution oriented customer service skills
