  • The delivery of the AXE Personal Care + DMC Deos Canada P&L (top and bottom line target delivery), including BMI management
  • The development and execution of digital-first Brand Marketing Plans with highly engaging content and leveraging data to drive relevance among specific audience segments
  • All local marketing / operations responsibilities, incl. but not limited to S&OP, IAT mgmt., Customer Presentations & Engagements, etc.
  • Shaping and ensuring the timely delivery of the 12 Quarter Activity Roadmap for the brands in Canada, in partnership with the North America brand team
  • Management and coaching of an Associate Brand Manager and an Assistant Brand Manager reporting directly to him/her
  • Responsible for maximizing partnership with NBA + MLSE (Toronto Raptors), to step-change growth for Men’s Personal Care portfolio

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & QualificationsExperience (+/- 8yrs) in the Marketing function, with a good balance between mix development AND local marketing/operations * Knowledge developing and executing Brand Marketing Plans across channels, with a special focus on Digital and Data Driven Marketing

  • Integrate Category Management functions to deliver brand/marketing strategies – ensuring brand DNA comes to life on the shelf. Champion of relevant category expertise into channels.
  • Make strategic brand trade-offs at shelf, guiding brand teams on most effective shelving strategy.
  • Input into innovation / renovation business cases e.g. pack size by channel, pricing, distribution targets & trade margins
  • Leverage Net Revenue Management (NRM) strategies to maximize ROI on trade strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer goods and sales/customer development
  • Strong understanding of customer operations and channel drivers
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong understanding and experience of Trade Fund Management
  • Understands Net Revenue Management concepts
  • Leverages Category Management generated insights to develop/execute fully integrated brand/category strategies and activities for customers.
