- Program manage deliverables & commitments and manage the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of external TELUS business partners (Apple, Samsung, Google etc.)
- Leverage vendor relationships to drive strong partnership across sales promotions, co-marketing opportunities and strategic programs that deliver against TELUS strategic pillars
- Be the internal, cross-functional leader that helps shape device portfolio strategy across TELUS’ varied customer segments, inclusive of general market consumers (both premium & flanker) as well as business (SMB, Commercial, and Public). Lead negotiations with vendors for device cost declination and funding for sales programs that meet customer, revenue, cost, and profitability targets by offsetting subsidy spend
- Develop and negotiate funding structures that balance Cost of Acquisition / Cost of Retention targets while supporting quarterly sales targets
- Own, drive, and deliver against annual financial targets including vendor funding, invoicing, financial tracking and analysis of vendor support and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all business units to manage funding prioritization and optimization according to TELUS business priorities
- Lead special projects that benefit vendor relations and/or contribute to profitability objectives
- Provide guidance and support to supply operations, device forecasting teams, and device acquisition teams with regards to handset purchases and inventory management

- Solid relationship-building and influencing skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on practical and creative solutions to support negotiation strategy and deliver on objectives
- Self-starter with proven ability to take complete ownership of a project by asking the right questions and owning the results from launch to completion
- Comfort with and experience owning quantitative analysis to help story tell key profit/loss KPIs to internal and external stakeholders
- Accustomed to an extremely fast-paced environment, requiring juggling of immediate tactical responses with long-term strategic planning
- Passionate and committed, and can raise the stakes in their role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience
- Bachelor’s or similar post-secondary degree in Business/Marketing or related discipline
- Must have 5+ years of experience in marketing, product development, product management or sales – knowledge of the telecom industry is a plus
- Direct or indirect responsibility for major profit and loss levers (volume, revenue, profit, cost, churn)
- Strong presentation abilities and comfort interacting with all levels of the organization, as well as external business partners
- Partner management and negotiation experience is considered an asset
Salary Range: $96,000-$144,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
