Department Overview
TD Securities (TDS) is a top-two dealer in Canada with a growing US business and global execution capabilities, offering a full suite of capital markets and corporate and investment banking products. Global Foreign Exchange (FX) is a key contributor to the overall success of TDS, delivering revenue and liquidity to the firm from various sales and trading business lines. Within North America, FX sales comprises of the following business units: Corporate, Institutional, Commercial and Retail.
The Retail & Wealth Distribution and Product Innovation group offers Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals, and Investment products sold through the Retail, Business Banking, and Wealth channels of TD Bank Group, with a focus on delivering products and services to TD Canada Trust, TD Wealth, TD Commercial Banking, and TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank customers. The team’s mandate is to increase profitability and to manage the day-to-day elements of the business, including product development, risk management, marketing and communication, digital sales, product innovation, and reporting/analytics.

Job Requirements
- Proven prior experience with digital sales and/or eCommerce.
- Prior experience in collaborating with Marketing on tactics such as SEO, Paid Search and Email Marketing as well as in-depth knowledge around Conversion Rate Optimization.
- Prior experience with testing/QA (regression testing, business acceptance testing, test strategy and test case development).
- Critical thinker with the ability to manage day to day operations and proactively resolve issues to ensure efficient operation of digital stores 24/7/365.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable recommendations from analysis.
- History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies, and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.
- Team player with excellent consensus building skills; possesses a high degree of motivation and desire to collaborate with others, and to build and maintain relationships in a matrix reporting environment, comfortable working on cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the willingness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Experience and understanding of retail banking, foreign exchange, and precious metals is an asset.
- Familiarity with HCL Commerce, Adobe Analytics, IBM Watson Assistant and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar is an asset.
- Proficient/fluent in French is an asset.

Job Description
The eCommerce Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day product ownership of the retail TD Precious Metals (Canada) and TD Foreign Exchange (US) digital stores. This includes, ownership of the product roadmap and various strategic integrations with a focus on revenue generation, solving complex operating issues and optimizing processes. In this role, there is a strong need to innovate, optimize, and automate as both the business and the digital landscape continue to evolve and scale. As this part of the business continues to grow and expand, we are looking for an individual who understands how to efficiently launch, manage, operate, and grow eCommerce sites.
Reporting to the Vice President, Digital Sales, the successful candidate will need to quickly learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment while performing their job function at a high level and managing their time and priorities effectively.
Objectives of the role include:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product colleagues on launches and campaigns and partner with key stakeholders to enhance and optimize operational effectiveness of the platform.
- Deliver on growth objectives, working closely with Marketing and leveraging tactics such as SEO, Paid Search, Email Marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization to drive revenue.
- Support ongoing site deployments, including product launches, marketing-related initiatives, strategic site enhancements, maintenance activities and more (including site deployment planning/co-ordination and end to end testing activities etc.).
- Support (as needed) for project/release testing and QA for both eCommerce sites (e.g. integration, business acceptance, performance, operability, deployment verification).
- Lead for troubleshooting and issue resolution on complex operating issues.
- Lead process optimization strategy and execution; this includes partnering with key stakeholders to enhance and optimize operational effectiveness for our eCommerce sites.
- Stay current on eCommerce trends to maximize business opportunities.
- Innovate with purpose – seek opportunities to automate and drive efficiencies.
Own and implement the Digital Sales strategic roadmap, managing continuous enhancements and optimizations for the TD Precious Metals and TD Foreign Currency eCommerce sites (in partnership with various partners, including Product Managers, the Retail FX and Metals Desk, and other Business Partners).
