DESCRIPTION

The SEO Specialist is an SEO expert capable of analyzing clients’ digital properties and implementing changes (on-site and off-site) to improve their SEO. He/she is responsible for executing SEO improvement initiatives (writing SEO-optimized content, implementing link building initiatives, etc.), and tracking SEO metrics), and the monitoring of associated performance indicators.


WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Understand the strategic issues of clients in terms of digital content and SEO improvement.
  • Contribute to the analysis of SEO audits and the implementation of the natural referencing strategy (on-site, off-site and technical) of clients.
  • Conduct keyword research, analysis and optimization required for the execution of SEO mandates.

WHAT KIND OF PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in writing, digital marketing, or other relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in SEO, ideally in an agency.
  • Impeccable grammar and spelling in both French and English.
  • Ability to work simultaneously and efficiently on multiple projects.
  • Comfortable with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SEM Rush, Moz, etc.
  • Bilingual English/French.

Executive Producer – Geared Content Studios

If you’re passionate about content and finding ways to merge brand/product messaging with great story telling, we want to talk to you. VerticalScope is looking for an Executive Producer for Geared Content Studios. We want someone who will take charge of our content studio, work with our existing roster of clients and push us into the next level, with new ideas, new productions and new relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all of production and development for Geared Content Studios, from initial brainstorm meeting to final delivery and content distribution.
  • Work with our sales team to pitch new projects and attend in-person meetings with agencies and clients.
  • Function as an on-the-ground producer to ensure productions are executed on time and within budget.
  • Hire and manage casting directors, video editors, ACs, directors of photography, graphic designers, PAs, and all other staff involved in production.
  • Manage a growing team to ensure that the standard of excellence for which Geared Content Studios is known exceeds client expectations.
  • Oversee scripts and treatments, production schedules, and perform any other duties, small or large, necessary to get a project sold and delivered.
  • Organize resources required for production (equipment, locations, production insurance, casting).
  • Track estimated expenses during pre, pro, and post to ensure we are coming in at budget.
  • Work with internal legal affairs to negotiate talent contracts, production insurance, production releases, SOWs, etc.
  • The position is client facing and is generally one of the main points of contact with the client & agency during the development, production and distribution of custom content.

  • Create and drive the implementation of marketing plans that include an integrated approach of both online and offline tactics such as live and virtual events, paid social, email, content marketing, social media, and more.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance across relevant KPIs, track and maintain marketing budget across campaigns, and present insights learned from each campaign.
  • Work cross-functionally across the marketing, channel and sales teams as needed to execute your programs.
  • Oversee vendor selection and contracts for event sponsorship, media placements, association memberships, and more.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing leadership teams to align targets, messaging, channels and calls to action.

What You’ve Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge of and experience with traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing, especially for B2B or SaaS companies
  • Experience within SaaS or B2B companies is preferred
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • Experience executing successful ABM campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and presentation skills

As SEO Specialist you will drive awareness and ROI via organic client acquisition tactics.
