  • Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all programs related to the overall operation of the Centre are implemented in a timely efficient manner by regularly reviewing the execution of areas such as, but not limited to, marketing, preventative maintenance, energy management, environmental management, waste management, landscaping, pest control, property security, snow removal, parking lot and roof maintenance and rehabilitation, life safety systems, cleaning operations, tenant coordination, and Health & Safety to ensure cost effective facility management in compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Lead key business projects, processes or procedures as identified by the GM and as needed by the business
  • Assist the GM in developing the annual operating budget for all categories of expense and recovery by conducting thorough studies of all contracts, previous year’s budget, repairs and upgrades and by controlling expenses
  • Assist in maintaining accounts receivable at a minimum level through weekly reviews with the revenue coordinator and immediately initiating any necessary paperwork to ensure CF retains good cash flow and limits exposure to delinquent accounts
  • Support in the development and implementation of strategies for increasing sales performance and maximizing revenue
  • Assist in the promotion and roll out of various plans to assist and guide in meeting corporate and portfolio vision, mission and goals
  • Respond to after-hours emergency calls by going to the site and taking the actions required to ensure all emergency procedures are followed and the security of personnel and the property is maintained as required

  • Leading the build and execution of multiple paid media campaigns across all CF retail property digital channels (English and French) across multiple digital platforms. It will support and amplify the Priorities projects across CF 16 retail properties and the high priority programs (i.e., Holiday, Home of Team Canada), providing recommendation on the asset types and formats needed for each platform and audience segment.
  • Responsible and accountable for setting campaign goals, budget and KPI’s, and track performance against these metrics.
  • Accountable for leading the growth strategy to expand the CF Insider Digital Community, acquire new community members and achieve success against goals by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on performance and make data driven decision making.
  • Leverage key learnings and shopper insights in collaboration with Marketing Intelligence to brief MarCom/Design or external agency teams to develop optimal creative assets for successful campaign execution and overall digital strategy.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on achieving deadlines and delivering results.
  • Reviews and constantly improves work standards, ensures best in class results.

What you need to succeed:

  • Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design Program or other post-secondary education with a professional degree from an accredited School of Graphic Design or an accredited college / CEGEP (possess DEC from a minimum 3 year program).
  • Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) in good standing – intern or greater.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant and progressive experience in Digital Design / Graphic Design layout/web creation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current trends in digital marketing and design, retail design and merchandising.
  • Knowledgeable of the following programs: Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HTML/CSS.
  • Familiar with video or motion graphics Premier, After Effects.
