Job Description
Position: Music Teacher at Elementary School
Location: Vancouver, BC
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team at an elementary school in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and experience working with young children.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for students in grades K-6
– Teach music theory, instrumental skills, and vocal techniques
– Plan and organize concerts, recitals, and other performances for students to showcase their talents
– Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate music into other subjects
– Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide feedback to support their growth
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
– Teaching certification or equivalent experience working with children
